The tiger barb (Puntius tetrazona) or sumatra barb, is a species of tropical freshwater fish belonging to the Puntius genus of the minnow family. The natural geographic range reportedly extends throughout the Malaysia, Sumatra and Borneo with unsubstantiated sightings reported in Cambodia.
